My first real-world experience. PHC GO is a SAAS, cloud-based ERP software.
My very own attempt at creating a SPA using Angular. In a nutshell, it is a HTML code / snippet editor with a live preview.
A Discord app used to play Sueca, Portuguese's #1 card game.
My gizmo collection
Other skills
After getting my own 3D printer, I had to learn more about parametric design.
As much as I love coding, jumping head first into OpenSCAD without the 3D modeling fundamentals was, to say the least, suboptimal, and so I took the GUI approach with FreeCAD.
As far as experience goes, I've been modeling a few things of my own, and I'm currently halfway into the FreeCAD 0.20 For Beginners Course by MangoJelly Solutions.
Professional experience @ PHC Software
After countless hours spent learning online and thinkering with everything I could place my hands on, it was official: I became a Developer.
As soon as 2023 started, I've successfully pivoted to a development role (previously on QA), and I've been coding for a living ever since.
Mostly front-end (Angular) stuff, with a little bit of .NET (VisualBasic) and T-SQL in the mix.
After finishing my first course, I was still very hyped, so I started another one! This time around, I wanted to play with Selenium and a new (to me) programming language, and so Python it was.
Albiet fun, I haven't worked with Selenium in a while — not that I lost interest (to be honest, I would try PlayRight this time around though, but moving along), it's just that with the pivot from a QA role to a developer role, my focus is no longer centered around automated testing.
As for the Python, I still use it to this day, especially when I'm around my Raspberry Pi.
When working as a software tester, I've always wondered what the application I was testing was made of. The answer was (partially) Angular.
Components, Modules, Guards, Resolvers, Routing, Obsersables... As someone who joined the scene recently (Typescript and SCSS were missing; jQuery and React skills are still missing), I got completely overwhelmed at first.
And so, I turned once again to online learning, and this time I took the Angular Path on PluralSight. Fast forward to today, and I'm a huge fan of Angular (material, not so much, but tell nobody).
On November 1st, 2020, I made the best purchase of my life. Udemy was selling a Javascript course for 9,99€ (an 137-hour course, mind you), and I bit the bullet.
From zero to hero, this was the course that kickstarted it all! Not only did it taught me how to code, but it also introduced me to the world of programming as a whole.
Needless to say, since I've purchased this course, I've been coding almost every single day of my life, and most of it in Javascript.
Shoutout to Luiz Miranda, and it's JavaScript and TypeScript — from basic to advanced course.
Professional experience @ PHC Software
My first professional IT experience. Started as a trainee, made it to the junior ranks a few months later, before finally pivoting to a developing role in 2023.
While on the QA team, I had the opportunity to plan and execute manual tests, manage feature documentation and public help centers, and test external application integrations.

A multi-purpose HTML snippet editor that used to be my "lab rat" while learning JavaScript.
Despite its (huge) flaws, it served me well and still continues to serve some old
colleagues to this day.
Four friends and a deck of cards?
Sueca! What
else?
Not my first discord rodeo, nor the most complex one, but for sure the most fun.
A C# command-line application that, as you've already guessed, runs Tetris.
Made within Frankenstein's lab, it is absolutely cursed, but it works. Have a laugh; this
one's on me!
A little script I made for my friends at @swellmusic.pt.
Why Javascript? We were very short on time, so... full-screen web browser to the rescue!
